I got an e-mail from Best Buy early this morning with a coupon code for $50 off purchases over $500.  Bad enough, the Canon Digital Rebel XT was already on sale for $729 ($100 off the regular price of $829) another $50 off got me to bite! At first I wanted the XTi but after comparing the differences and the price I think I can settle for the XT.  Also, it’s not as much money spent when I decide to upgrade to the 30D a year or so down the road.  $679 for the XT with the 18-55 lens.  The body alone is worth that much. 

This means it will be easier for me to wait on the macbook because now I don’t have enough money saved up!
