I was pretty surprised this morning, I stumbled into the local Tim Hortons to see that they added a new MasterCard PayPass machine.

This has got to be one of the best things to ever go into a Tim Hortons.  I was always hoping that they would never get interac because it would slow down the lineup but this thing is awesome.  It’s too bad I can’t use my Esso Speedpass because I don’t have one of these PayPass yet.  All you gotta do is sign up for a PayPass with MasterCard and bam! You’ll never have to dig through your pockets or through your car for change again!

I wonder if Tim Hortons is going through with this across Canada?  I would imagine if they are doing it in this town they will do it everywhere.  Now I just need a cellphone that is compatible with this technology….
