New iPods Announced
I think everyone knows this already but yesterday Apple released the new iPod Touch which closely resembles the iPhone. The new ipod touch has built in wifi which is kinda cool. It makes me want to get one for that feature alone. One thing I wasn’t able to find was if it had Apple Mail built in. You Tube, Safari and iTunes is cool but I’m hoping for a little bit of productivity too. The only downside that I can see at the moment is that you can only get it with 8GB for $329 CAN or with 16GB for $449 CA N which is kind of steep. Hopefully they can come up with a way to squeeze 80GB in there. Another good feature would be bluetooth so people could use wireless headphones. I guess there’s only so much you can fit in such a small device.
The new iPod Nano is cool because the screen is a little bit bigger. It also has 8gb for $219 CAN which was the price for the old 4GB. The coolest new feature with the Nano is that you can play video’s!
The iPod Classic which was the 30GB and the 80GB iPod video before has been upgraded to 80GB and 160GB at the same price as before ($279 and $399)
The iPod Shuffle remains unchanged.
I can’t wait for October until Apple releases Leopard!
