Day Trip
Pot holes, bumpy roads, and congested traffic is what I was welcomed with this morning at 8:50am as I arrived in Sudbury. Sudbury has changed a lot over the last couple of year but road conditions and traffic have only gotten worse. I was at the mall before it opened so I killed some time at Walmart. That place is still as busy now as it was 5 years ago during the holiday season. I met up with my brother and Kendra for lunch at Swish Chalet. Jenn is very jealous that I got to eat the festive meal, even though it wasn’t the greatest. We did some shopping at the mall, Future Shop and Costco. I finally got myself a sweater from the college that I went to. Kendra bought a wicked cool Olympus 790WS camera that is waterproof up to 10 feet, shockproof @ 5 feet, and freezable to -10 Celsius. Not to mention face detection and image stabilization.
I cannot reveal anything that I purchased because Jenn will most likely read this post before Christmas.
Driving home sucked because it snowed all afternoon in Sudbury and nobody there knows how to drive when there is snow. It took me about an hour to get out to Chelmsford. By the time I was close to half way home I was falling asleep. I fixed that with a 15 minute power snooze and a pepsi. I didn’t have problem the rest of the way. It only took me 3 hours to get there but 4 and a half to get back.
