Worlds Thinnest Laptop

January 15th, 2008

That’s right the Macbook Air was released today at Macworld in San Francisco. This thing is awesome! Weighing in at a low 3lbs it’s also the lightest laptop that I know of. The thickest part of this laptop is only 0.76 inches thick. Instead of me re-listing all the features just click here to read all about it and see ton’s of pictures.

Macworld starts Tuesday

January 9th, 2008

Well the much anticipated Macworld is set to start on Tuesday. I’ve been reading tons of stuff online regarding what Apple is supposed to be releasing this year and one thing that keeps coming up is iTunes movie rentals. Rumours say that movie rentals will be $3.99 from the iTunes store and will expire after 24 hours. That’s not too bad, it’s cheaper than the movie store and no surprises since the movie is always in stock.

Another rumour that has been flying around is the announcement of a sub-compact Macbook Pro. Many sites are saying that we will see a 12″ Macbook Pro with a solid state hard drive early this year, possible at Macworld.

For the mobile user that doesn’t want to fork out additional cash for an iMac at home there are rumours that Apple will be releasing a docking station similar to the iMac where you simply slide your laptop computer into it.

I can’t wait to see what Steve Jobs comes up with this year. Hopefully it’s available to Canada this year… unlike the iPhone.
