We made it back from Punta Cana yesterday morning. I haven’t been up to too much since then. I am feeling lazy and this feels too much like work. This is all the posting that I will be doing for now.
It’s finally here. We are leaving in less than 6 hours for Toronto. In the morning we will probably go to Wonderland and spend the day since Jenn really wants to check out that new roller coaster. Tomorrow night we will meet up with some friends nearby Toronto and go out for supper. We are staying right at the airport and don’t fly out till 3pm the next day. That means on Saturday we get to sleep in! I can’t wait. The beds at the Sheraton are so comfy. At 3pm we are off to Punta Cana for a week. I can’t wait since I’ve never been to an all inclusive before. I am bringing my Canon 40D so expect a ton of pictures.
Since we are leaving for Toronto on Friday and Punta Cana on Saturday I am trying to get everything done. So far it’s been pretty good. I even managed to switch over my summer tires on my car. They look way better than my winter tires with hubcaps. My wheel bearings are shot and make a very loud humming noise which is not good. I will have to get that repaired when I get back from holidays.
Last weekend I helped out my friend dig up the back of his house since his basement was leaking. It went pretty fast and gave me some kind of hope because I have to do the same to mine. I hope mine goes as well. I really doubt it though. All he put instead of blue skin was some type of plastic wall that he just nailed on. It was $130 instead of $500-$600. After the work was done there we took out our 4wheelers and got stuck in some mud holes. With the very low ground clearance that my bike has I also manages to get all kinds of water in my belt. Not so much fun. I will put a drain plug in that cover later this month.
On Saturday we had a visitor join us for a few days. His name is Logan and he is Jenn’s sisters dog. Jenn’s sister is gone to Dominican and her parents are in Hawaii. That means we get to doggysit. The first night he was crying at 2am and 6am which really sucked but last night he was fine and slept all night. I remember why we don’t have a dog now. Every time I want a dog I will just refer to this post.
Now I am just trying to figure out what I need to pack for Punta Cana. Not too sure what I should bring because I’ve never been before. I can’t wait to get there. I’ve never been to an all inclusive before. Should be fun
